What is antbot?

antbot is the AI assistant built directly into antbase. It lives inside your workspace and understands your projects, your team, and your context. Unlike generic AI tools, antbot knows that "the landing page" refers to your active sprint and that "Sarah" is your lead designer who's already at capacity this week.

What can antbot do?

  • Write task descriptions: Describe what you need in plain language and antbot drafts a clear, actionable task with acceptance criteria.
  • Summarize project status: Ask "what's blocking the v2 launch?" and get a concise, context-aware summary from your actual task data.
  • Suggest assignments: Based on the Workload View, antbot can recommend who has capacity to take on new work.
  • Generate standup notes: Pull yesterday's completions and today's planned work into a formatted standup update in seconds.

antbot uses the AI provider of your choice — OpenAI, Anthropic, or others. You bring your own API key, so you're always in control of your AI costs and data. We never train models on your workspace data.

Getting started

antbot is available on all plans. Open any project, click the antbot icon in the sidebar, and start chatting. Your first prompt is free — no setup required.
